University Honors Employees on 10th, 20th Anniversaries

University President Rev. David M. O’Connell and University Chaplain Rev. Robert Schlageter were among 68 members of the University community who were honored for their service Tuesday night in the Pryzbyla Center.
The University honored employees who have given 10 and 20 years of service to the University. Prior to the award ceremony, honorees and guests were served dinner and enjoyed entertainment by Take Note A Capella.
President’s Society member Claire Bordelon pins a flower on Renell Lewis, director of treasury management (10 yrs.).
Those who were honored ranged from administrators, maintenance personnel, professors, support staff and a Department of Public Safety Officer.
Schlageter, who had to leave early to hear confessions in Spellman Hall, was the first person to receive an award. Read more
