Spring Break is Every Student’s Responsibility

With spring break rapidly approaching, we are all eager to take some time away from campus, away from classes and midterms, unbound from the demands of college life. Over the impending recess, we are looking forward to many things; some of us are excited to return home and spend time with our families and old friends. Others are traveling–some to warm places, others not so much–to pass the break with our friends.

No matter where you will be going this spring break, we hope that you stay safe. It is easy to get carried away with all of this new found time and freedom, but we hope you don’t ‘festify’ (acting belligerent due to celebrating too hard according to Urban Dictionary), while you’re away. We urge you not to ignore the iPromise tables and to pledge to take care of your friends and yourselves over the vacation.

If the problem you’re anticipating isn’t getting carried away, but staying entertained, we have some suggestions from the Tower staff:

1. Catch up on your favorite show or finally see that movie you were too busy to watch before.

2. Go to an indoor water park, always a good choice if you’re avoiding the cold or the sun.

3. Catch up on much needed sleep.

4. There is only so much Pryz food a person can eat, so go home and enjoy a home cooked meal. Have a good time, and we’ll see you after your relaxing (or otherwise) week off. Enjoy!
