Quiznos to Open Wed. After Two Year Delay

After two years of construction delays and paperwork setbacks, Quizno’s will open up in the food court next week. On Wednesday, October 15th, Quizno’s will finally open in the Pryzbyla Center Food Court, according to CUA Dining Services.

“It’s going to be awesome,” said freshman theology major Dillon Scherer.

Quizno’s was originally supposed to open in the Pryzblya Center during the 2005-2006 school year. However, at that time they had yet to obtain the necessary permits to begin construction. The same problem occurred last year as well with Quizno’s not obtaining the necessary permits and paperwork.

The new Quizno’s will replace Java City in the food court. The menu will not be as detailed as a typical Quizno’s menu, and will only offer selective items.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 10:45 a.m. and the first 25 costumers will get to spin a prize wheel to win prizes.
